Volunteers are at the heart of every successful convention—and the 2026 Convention is no exception! We’re inviting YOU to join our team and help create an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

No matter your experience level, there’s a role for you! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist in several key areas including:

• Clinic Room Hosts – Welcome attendees and support presenters to keep everything running smoothly.
• Contest Room Helpers – Assist with setup and monitoring throughout the event.
• Model Contest Judges – Evaluate models and displays (no experience necessary—we’ll train you!).

Why Volunteer?

• Get more involved in the NMRA community
• Contribute to the convention’s success
• Earn credit toward your NMRA Achievement Program (AP)!

AP Volunteer Time Units Earned:

General volunteers are considered “regional committee members” for one month and earn ½ AP Volunteer Time Unit.

Model contest judges earn 2 AP Volunteer Time Units for one day of service.
